RoNNIE ScotT - CEO & President
Mr. Scott has over thirty years of oil and gas industry experience and is CEO and President of Development Capital Resources. Previously, Mr. Scott served as CEO and President of True Oil Company, a private equity backed oil and gas firm. He was also President and COO of Henry Petroleum and its successor companies, Henry Resources and HPC Energy, all privately-held energy firms based in Midland, Texas. Mr. Scott began his career with Exxon Corporation holding various supervisory and managerial assignments in Engineering, Operations, Planning, and Financial Accounting and Reporting. In addition to the Permian Basin, he has had assignments covering operational areas in the Gulf Coast / GOM region, California, and the Rocky Mountains and was the Technical Manager for Exxon’s multi-billion dollar onshore operations in the Western United States prior to moving to privately held energy firms. Mr. Scott is currently serving or has served on the board of directors on multiple publicly-traded and privately-held energy companies including Halcon Resources, Gastar Exploration, Clayton Williams Energy Corporation, Blackbrush Oil and Gas, Verdad Resources, and Pardus Oil and Gas. Mr. Scott also serves as Vice President of the board of the Henry Foundation and as a founding board member of Educate Midland, a non-profit focused on public education in West Texas. Mr. Scott holds Master and Bachelor of Science degrees in Engineering and is a Registered Petroleum Engineer.
Matt Loreman - COO
Mr. Loreman is COO of Development Capital Resources. Previously, Mr. Loreman served as a Managing Director in Evercore’s Oil & Gas Advisory group in Houston. While at Evercore, Mr. Loreman focused on the upstream space and executed a variety of merger, acquisition, divestiture, capital raising and restructuring transactions. Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Loreman worked in the Natural Resources Investment Banking group of J.P. Morgan in Houston. Mr. Loreman has advised clients on transactions in a variety of plays and basins including: Delaware Basin, Midland Basin, STACK/SCOOP, Eagle Ford, Bakken, DJ Basin, Marcellus/Utica, Barnett, California, Rockies Gas, Haynesville, GOM and International Offshore. Mr. Loreman holds a B.A. in Economics, English and Philosophy from Rice University.
Josh KIng - VP of Business Development & Finance
Mr. King is Vice President of Business Development & Finance for Development Capital Resources. Prior to DCR, Mr. King worked in the oil and gas investment banking groups of Evercore and Credit Suisse in Houston where he executed a variety of capital markets, restructuring and M&A engagements for upstream and midstream clients. Mr. King previously held positions with the CME Group Inc. and with a portfolio company of Wexford Capital LP. Mr. King received a B.A. with a double major in Political Science and Spanish from Pepperdine University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
eric monus - VP of Operations & Engineering
Mr. Monus is Vice President of Operations & Engineering for Development Capital Resources. Previously, Mr. Monus served as a Director in BMO Capital Market’s A&D group in Houston. While at BMO, Mr. Monus advised clients on transactions in numerous plays and basins including: Delaware Basin, Midland Basin, Eagle Ford, Piceance Basin, Green River Basin, East TX, and South TX. Mr. Monus began his career at ExxonMobil holding various production and reservoir engineering roles supporting assets in the Rockies, East TX, Gulf Coast, GOM, & International assets. Mr. Monus holds a B.S. in Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a Registered Professional Petroleum Engineer in the State of Texas.
Mike Ziegler – VP OF ACCOUNTING
Mr. Ziegler is the Vice President of Accounting for Development Capital Resources. Previously, Mr. Ziegler served as Controller and Director of Financial Reporting of Sanchez Oil and Gas Corporation. Prior to Sanchez, Mr. Ziegler was Assistant Controller and Manager of Investor Relations of PetroLogistics, LLC. Additionally, Mr. Ziegler worked in the audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he focused primarily on midstream and oil and gas clients. Mr. Ziegler holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans and a B.S. in Accounting from Louisiana State University. In addition, Mr. Ziegler is a Certified Public Accountant in the states of Texas and Louisiana.
Chris Duin – Senior Associate
Mr. Duin is a Senior Associate at Development Capital Resources. Previously, Mr. Duin served as an engineer in both the Business Development and Permian groups at Noble Energy. Mr. Duin holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Mr. Ahlgrim is a Senior Accountant for Development Capital Resources. Previously, Mr. Ahlgrim served as a Senior Auditor with EnscoRowan. Prior to EnscoRowan, Mr. Ahlgrim was an Operations Accounting & Analysis division lead at Southwestern Energy for the company’s Fayetteville Shale and Exploration divisions. Mr. Ahlgrim holds a B.A. in Economics and Business from Hendrix College and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Arkansas.
Lindsey Fuquen – Executive Assistant and Office Operations Manager
Ms. Fuquen is Executive Assistant and Office Operations Manager at Development Capital Resources. Previously, Ms. Fuquen served as Senior Administrative Assistant at BMO Capital Markets. While at BMO Capital Markets, Ms. Fuquen administratively managed and supported the Acquisitions and Divestitures team. Ms. Fuquen holds a B.A. in Sociology and Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University.
